- Note: Rand is less than comprehensively accurate in her description, as she succumbs to the fallacy of authority; which is indeed, a slippery slope. That being read, there is a great deal of useful information to be comprehended, removing contradictions as they are encountered; through which we are all empowered.

Great great stuff & quality.
Excellent quality information, nice presentation and good video lighting.
Just to let you people know, here in the Netherlands they are already blocking some international torrent sites, so I think Richards worry is grounded.
“The most dangerous superstition” is not as you contend: the belief we need a government, , and yes cops and tax collectors to run the whole shebang and an army for our borders.
“The most dangerous superstition” is the belief that life would be better off in anarchy, without trial by jury, a bill of rights, a court system, a rule of law etc “just us folks living without law, tra-la-la”, without bridges and roads and security keepers. Take a vacation in like say, Somalia, and report back after a month. After your bag of gold was taken and you were raped and left to starve, you would have learned that there is this problem with humans, there is always a mob, an organized band of powerful who gang up and take from the weak.
Its much better to have rules, decided upon by a citizen elected government, and enforced by a tax-paid cadre of people entrusted with power and wielding guns….(the citizens should have guns too) We the people need to remain very politically active in controlling our Government keeping it free from corruption.(boy we’ve failed on that one lately) Decisions are difficult as in any large group…that’s politics. Hank Reardon was a dictator as CEO president owner of a corporation, free to fire you from his “country” if you didn’t perform….is that the government you would vote for? or John Galt? Not my style
I love this site and the podcasts…thought provoking, stimulating, intellectual…..BRAVO! WILL SEND SUPPORT.
There is no such thing as “Govt”.
There is only people manipulating other people.
yes you would have all these things, the difference being people would take responsibility on themselves to organize services without the middle man Govt. Theives would be dealt with under Natural Law.
Do you know the latin meaning of “Government”?
Did you even read his book?
Here is something analogous to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVQUSkDVRqc
