I hear what you are saying, Jan. It is more difficult to make friends these days. IMO it is because so many people are afflicted with narcissism and other personality disorders. They spend their time on fakebook complaining rather than doing. I’ve seen feuds, relationships end and ruined business reputations because of fb. Can’t blame the platform when people willingly troll, and throw each other under the bus. Although fb is a good tool to get one’s message out, it for sure has a down side. The negatives outweigh the positives in many ways. It’s easy for people to lie and portray an untrue picture of themselves. FB tracks and collects your information. There is no privacy if you are on fb.
Alternative media can be a trap. I just saw RT report on a “Harvard” study that people on gluten-free diets have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. There they are promoting a diet rich in whole grains. They and the study neglect to include that the “gluten-free” substitutes wreck more havoc on blood sugar than wheat. The research is out there on the internet. Willful ignorance, or promoting an agenda?
Just because information comes from a perceived “alternative” source doesn’t mean it isn’t controlled opposition.
I think Harvard’s always promoting the agenda. And never mind that wheat causes Type 2 diabetes. It’s amazing the bullshit. They’re really trying to keep people on wheat because if you figure that one out you’ll likely start to see the rest.
