Thought I would share a couple of documents I found while researching some comments in this podcast:

Hindsight truly is 20/20, the obviousness of these situations after the fact is mind numbing and maddening. The question becomes how to get ahead of the curve so to speak, because so long as we are behind this is not going to end or even improve for “our side” of the equation.
Ooops, that second link was not the one I intended. This is the one:

Listening through a second time, I believe the comment about Freud is backwards. From:

Page 35:
“In the same way, in constructing his own theories of psychoanalysis, Freud covered up the traces of ancient Egyptian influence. But once he had begun down that road, he had to conjure up a similar dissociation when it came to his debt to Jewish mysticism. Only in this way could he promote psychoanalysis as a SUBSTITUTE FOR the old RELIGIONs [emphasis added], Egyptian or Jewish. ”
SUBSTITUTE FOR RELIGION == Transfer of “free” authority and wisdom, into a paid service.
They did not study Freud, they in fact have the ancient historical knowledge and understanding that Freud was a student of. Freud then plagiarized, profited from, and passed on to Bernays et al.
How Freud first gained awareness, I can’t answer, but he was just a plagiarist, he contributed nothing …
“Nothing new, under the sun” ……
Well, Jan and Joe, I had no idea Kinsey was one sick [fill in the blank]. Wow. I recall reading about the “Kinsey Report”–not that I recall what was in the report–in Ms. Magazine sometime in the early 80s. That’s when I was ignorant and thought feminism was hip. It wasn’t until I began a family when I realized how it is all stacked against us. I was severely criticized for being a stay-at-home mom.
The notion women can have it all is ridiculous: bring home the bacon, fry it in a pan, and so on. You might remember the “Enjoli” commercial? If not you can google it on youtube and then get a laugh, although it’s not funny haha, but embarrassing and sad. I remember the 70s as a dark and depressing time. But, hey, we’re all made to believe it’s us, right? Something must be wrong with us if we don’t conform to the mass media hype, the commercials, the hipster movies, and tv shows, Ms. Magazine, CNN, you name it.
Do I have to say I find normalizing pedophilia disturbing? Perhaps those of us, such as myself, who find it repulsive have to speak out, otherwise silence means we agree with it. Pedophilia is sexual abuse–and let’s be clear it’s abuse–and traumatizes children into adulthood for a lifetime, and pedophiles to justify their actions will say the children enjoyed it. Sick. I tell you. Sick. Gustave Flaubert would disapprove of my writing since I used the same word “sick” 3+ times on one page, but it’s the only word I can think of that describes what pedophiles are. The question is are we going to continue to be a sick culture and society? Can we ever get on the road to health as a people? Like Joe says, as a community…
As a side note: California schools will be teaching LGBT history. I wonder if they will include the part that by the time they are 50 they will most likely need adult diapers if they are engaging in anal sex. I guess, that is one side benefit to keep consumerism going–and so it might be a good idea to invest in Depends® stock for the future. The down side to promiscuity and lesbian/gay sex practices is there are long-term health consequences that few want to talk about. Just sayin’
