Thanks very much for bringing to light this piece of history and ongoing issue. This led me to reading up on Steve’s work and learning more about Fiona’s story. On a personal level, this information represents another data point in my own understanding of my father, who I suspect was sexually abused as an altar boy in the Catholic Church in the 1950s in Canada. While it is difficult to stomach the information you (and Fiona) have presented, the truth needs to be understood by most, if not all, in order for these horrific abuses to have a chance of being extinguished, and to provide an opportunity for a healthier society to emerge. As you implied, I don’t believe it is unreasonable to think that exposing this issue to the masses could be the straw that broke the camel’s back of the secret societies and corrupt organizations that exist at the highest levels.
