You can’t define a concept properly unless you can refer to its opposite. That’s always a given that must be understood: the whole nature of what is called duality, Yin and Yang, the so-called Tao of Physics. Duality does not mean there are not infinite degrees of efficient and beautifully negotiated (for its time-frame at the very least) temperance between the two extremes and that those two extremes themselves cannot organically transcend all attempts at co-option by parasitical forces to change themselves at some point in time and become more accurately defined, shifting the entire dynamic of all the points in-between as well which have to constantly refer to the extremes to define themselves and where their point of temperance-without-compromise (which creates an inner balance that channels energy most efficiently and therefore receives that energy) is likely to be.
So with the substitution, faking and forgery of the natural signs which represent an attempt by more-or-less honestly motivated human beings to compile complicated mental concepts, comes what Michael Tsarion used to call mental colonization and this mental colonization, when unrecognized, then sets not just your INITIAL premises and foundations, but ALL the initial premises and foundations covered in that linguistic/symbolic/metaphorical system of signs and therefore all the more-or-less “logical” dualities and paradigms people use to define their symbolically accessed mutually communicable “realities” and through these communications the nature and quality and direction of their cultures and societies is set and the roles designated, directed and played.
Why do you think they call it Source-ry? Sore-cery too. The very source of your “sore” and “sorry” state?
That’s because in order to receive (re-sieve, through your own sieve and filter) the benefits of Sorcery, you have to colonize, counterfeit, fake, forge and change the SOURCE materials, the source, foundational signs and symbols and metaphors from which EVERYBODY, and that is the vast majority of humans in the world, all trapped within similar linguistic prisons, base their faulty, shaky, unstable and ultimately always crumbling, destabilized and open-to-predation-&-parasitism structures of logic on. They go on reasoning without really checking their premises while convinced that THEY HAVE checked their premises because a SOURCE of authority has told them that here, here and there are what ALL base premises are to be found and NOT where your felt symptoms of abnormality and disease re-activating your own more independent thinking and “common sense” might lead you to find them.
A parallel question (which Michael Tsarion has also been raising for years) presents itself at this point, once you finally realize where SOURCE-ry gets its true “source” power to pervert things from, is the following: “How many healthy and beneficial and maybe-even significantly life-span-expanding old instincts and sciences-based-on-them have been deliberately LOCKED BEHIND the linguistic prisons of coded language and Pavlovized foundational premises by the internally-disordered-therefore-driven to-establish-external-order-&-authority control-freak parasite-elites in order to program the perfect slave to ‘voluntarily’ program himself in ‘reasonable’ and ‘logical’ fashion, through ignorance of the much vaster power of subconscious realities that set the inverted-source value-based foundations and compass for the conscious activities, and therefore to become just confused enough to remain a slave for the longest period possible before new efforts of ‘sorcery’ are needed, while all the while thinking he’s been a free agent?”
“False opinions are like false money, struck first of all by guilty men and thereafter circulated by honest people who perpetuate the crime without knowing what they are doing.” — Joseph de Maistre
“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“The individual’s adherence to his group is ‘ conscious’ because he is aware of it and recognizes it, but it is ultimately involuntary because he is trapped in a dialectic and in a group that leads him unfailingly to his adherence. His adherence is also ‘intellectual’ because he can express his conviction clearly and logically, but it is not genuine because the information, the data, the reasoning, that have led him to adherence to the group were themselves deliberately falsified in order to lead him there.” ~ Jacques Ellul – “Propaganda, The Formation of Men’s Attitudes”
Since nothing whatsoever can be expressed between two people without the use of symbols and metaphors (even a baby crying, translated to conceptualized human terms, is a sound metaphor for “help me, I’m hungry” or “help me I’m uncomfortable or in trouble”), then it follows that Myth, even the most primitive of myths, cannot exist before symbols and metaphors. Before anything can be drawn, spoken or communicated, symbols have to be conceived of from primitive perceptions of natural forms, then manipulated further, in a certain way, to make that particular expression, i.e., symbolic measuring or mapping of reality, possible. Therefore if our newer symbols and metaphors are “derived from myth,” they certainly also were instrumental in creating those myths in their older forms.
So the roots of all consciousness are the patterns in the mind that are somehow balanced and energized to organize perceptions into concepts and give measure to this or that aspect of reality, starting with the first concepts spoken (mama or papa using only the lips), already two metaphors away from reality, in order to navigate (properly behave or beehive) in that aspect of reality and establish relations, trails of community-approved navigation you could say, paths of communication between two or more people.
In the beginning there was the “word” and “the number” also. The word is used as measurement or mapping of this or that aspect of reality in order to navigate it better and make possible communication of this aspect, added to other aspects identified by other concepts in a certain order, and thus to create more complex relations between two or more people. The symbol of the number, which can be used to code and identify words as well, in the Jewish practice of Gematria, for instance, is eventually used to create Mathematics, the so-called language of science, or rather the means of communication, necessarily more accurate though still entirely symbolic, between physical phenomena and the human mind. There is also the psychic and psychological cartography of “art,” the de-sign or de-signifying science, which seeks to find paths of navigation within previously unexplored areas of the psyche and leave trails for others initiated (deconditioned enough from standard linguistic prisons) to follow.
All these man-made and to-the-best-of-his-at-each-stage-current-ability nature-based navigational methods or modalities of reality are then imposed on reality to see to what extent mother nature will accept them back as parts or forms of her own fabric. Acceptance is signaled and signified with smoother and more successful navigation and calmer waters and feelings of pleasure, accomplishment and joy. Once these methods become outdated, symptoms of pain and unbalance appear to signal improper use of energy (inner-g, inner-god, inner-grace, inner-channels of most streamlined, leveraged and effective distribution or form-morphing) and the need arises for newer and better science or artifice, new trails blazed by the two checks-&-balance-maintaining flip-sides of the same reality-mapping coin: artistry and science. The great artist or scientist then becomes the one who leaves the most influential and useful paths of exploration for others to follow.

“What, indeed, does man know of himself! Can he even once perceive himself completely, laid out as if in an illuminated glass case? Does not nature keep much the most from him, even about his body, to spellbind and confine him in a proud, deceptive consciousness, far from the coils of the intestines, the quick current of the blood stream, and the involved tremors of the fibers? She threw away the key; and woe to the calamitous curiosity which might peer just once through a crack in the chamber of consciousness and look down, and sense that man rests upon the merciless, the greedy, the insatiable, the murderous, in the indifference of his ignorance—hanging in dreams, as it were, upon the back of a tiger. In view of this, whence in all the world comes the urge for truth?
Insofar as the individual wants to preserve himself against other individuals, in a natural state of affairs he employs the intellect mostly for simulation alone. But because man, out of need and boredom, wants to exist socially, herd-fashion, he requires a peace pact and he endeavors to banish at least the very crudest bellum omni contra omnes [war of all against all] from his world. This peace pact brings with it something that looks like the first step toward the attainment of this enigmatic urge for truth. For now that is fixed which henceforth shall be ‘truth’; that is, a regularly valid and obligatory designation of things is invented, and this linguistic legislation also furnishes the first laws of truth: for it is here that the contrast between truth and lie first originates. The liar uses the valid designations, the words, to make the unreal appear as real; he says, for example, ‘I am rich,’ when the word ‘poor’ would be the correct designation of his situation. He abuses the fixed conventions by arbitrary changes or even by reversals of the names. When he does this in a self-serving way damaging to others, then society will no longer trust him but exclude him. Thereby men do not flee from being deceived as much as from being damaged by deception: what they hate at this stage is basically not the deception but the bad, hostile consequences of certain kinds of deceptions. In a similarly limited way man wants the truth: he desires the agreeable life-preserving consequences of truth, but he is indifferent to pure knowledge, which has no consequences; he is even hostile to possibly damaging and destructive truths. And, moreover, what about these conventions of language? Are they really the products of knowledge, of the sense of truth? Do the designations and the things coincide? Is language the adequate expression of all realities?
Only through forgetfulness can man ever achieve the illusion of possessing a ‘truth’ in the sense just designated. If he does not wish to be satisfied with truth in the form of a tautology—that is, with empty shells—then he will forever buy illusions for truths. What is a word? The image of a nerve stimulus in sounds. But to infer from the nerve stimulus, a cause outside us, that is already the result of a false and unjustified application of the principle of reason. If truth alone had been the deciding factor in the genesis of language, and if the standpoint of certainty had been decisive for designations, then how could we still dare to say ‘the stone is hard,’ as if ‘hard’ were something otherwise familiar to us, and not merely a totally subjective stimulation! We separate things according to gender, designating the tree as masculine and the plant as feminine. What arbitrary assignments! How far this oversteps the canons of certainty! We speak of a ‘snake’: this designation touches only upon its ability to twist itself and could therefore also fit a worm. What arbitrary differentiations! What one-sided preferences, first for this, then for that property of a thing! The different languages, set side by side, show that what matters with words is never the truth, never an adequate expression; else there would not be so many languages.
The ‘thing in itself’ (for that is what pure truth, without consequences, would be) is quite incomprehensible to the creators of language and not at all worth aiming for. One designates only the relations of things to man, and to express them one calls on the boldest metaphors. A nerve stimulus, first transposed into an image—first metaphor. The image, in turn, imitated by a sound—second metaphor. And each time there is a complete overleaping of one sphere, right into the middle of an entirely new and different one. One can imagine a man who is totally deaf and has never had a sensation of sound and music. Perhaps such a person will gaze with astonishment at Chladni’s sound figures; perhaps he will discover their causes in the vibrations of the string and will now swear that he must know what men mean by ‘sound.’ It is this way with all of us concerning language; we believe that we know something about the things themselves when we speak of trees, colors, snow, and flowers; and yet we possess nothing but metaphors for things—metaphors which correspond in no way to the original entities. In the same way that the sound appears as a sand figure, so the mysterious X of the thing in itself first appears as a nerve stimulus, then as an image, and finally as a sound. Thus the genesis of language does not proceed logically in any case, and all the material within and with which the man of truth, the scientist, and the philosopher later work and build, if not derived from never-never land, is at least not derived from the essence of things.”
~ Friedrich Nietzsche, “On Truth and Lie in an Extra-Moral Sense” (1873)

“The drive toward the formation of metaphors is the fundamental human drive, which one cannot for a single instant dispense with in thought, for one would thereby dispense with man himself. This drive is not truly vanquished and scarcely subdued by the fact that a regular and rigid new world is constructed as its prison from its own ephemeral products, the concepts. It seeks a new realm and another channel for its activity, and it finds this in myth and in art generally. This drive continually confuses the conceptual categories and cells by bringing forward new transferences, metaphors, and metonymies. It continually manifests an ardent desire to refashion the world which presents itself to waking man, so that it will be as colorful, irregular, lacking in results and coherence, charming, and eternally new as the world of dreams. Indeed, it is only by means of the rigid and regular web of concepts that the waking man clearly sees that he is awake; and it is precisely because of this that he sometimes thinks that he must be dreaming when this web of concepts is torn by art.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche, “On Truth and Lie in an Extra-Moral Sense” (1873)
“The fact that artistic, scientific, and religious propensities still slumber peacefully together in the small child, or that with primitives the beginnings of art, science, and religion coalesce in the undifferentiated chaos of the magical mentality, or that no trace of ‘mind’ can be found in the natural instincts of animals – all this does nothing to prove the existence of a unifying principle which alone would justify a reduction of the one to the other. For if we go so far back into the history of the mind that the distinctions between its various fields of activity become altogether invisible, we do not reach an underlying principle of their unity, but merely an earlier, undifferentiated state in which no separate activities yet exist. But the elementary state is not an explanatory principle that would allow us to draw conclusions as to the nature of the later, more highly developed states, even though they must necessarily derive from it. A scientific attitude will always tend to overlook the peculiar nature of these more differentiated states in favour of their causal derivation, and will endeavor to subordinate them to a general but more elementary principle.” — Carl Jung
“O, what a world of unseen visions and heard silences, this insubstantial country of the mind!
What ineffable essences, these touchless rememberings and unshowable reveries!
And the privacy of it all! A secret theater of speechless monologue and prevenient counsel, an invisible mansion of all moods, musings, and mysteries, an infinite resort of disappointments and discoveries.
A whole kingdom where each of us reigns reclusively alone, questioning what we will, commanding what we can.
A hidden hermitage where we may study out the troubled book of what we have done and yet may do.
An introcosm that is more myself than anything I can find in a mirror.
This consciousness that is myself of selves, that is everything, and yet is nothing at all — what is it?
And where did it come from? And why?”
~ Julian Jaynes
There are only two main forms of interaction between human beings I’ve been able to identify: through a win-win dialectic of the producer or the win-lose dialectic of the parasite. A “draw” is an incomplete transaction.
This applies even to cues spent only through body language. If I pass by you on the street and I smile and you smile back, that’s already a win-win dialectic in effect. If you don’t smile back, my effort to be amiable has not met with a similar expenditure of energy on your part, therefore, even at this stage between almost complete strangers, a win-lose dialectic with a soul-sucking vampire might be suspected to be in effect and any future smiles in that direction may be reconsidered and not given the same effort to actualize.
At more complex levels of social interaction, the win-lose of the parasite, of course, would have nothing to “win” at all if not for the win-win dialectic having created, in the first place, through a process of temperance-without-compromise-to-principle among synergized groups of creatives and producers, something worth looting through force or fraud.
All laws are enforced by a superior power that can physically or spiritually hurt you if you disobey. Might makes right or “rights” because rights make the most might, the most energy or power or leverage to move things, for better or worse.
However, parasitical might cannot create for itself and has to steal that might by conning (cunning) the creators. Creators only create under conditions where they believe themselves to be free and able to collect the fruits of their labor, whether symbolized in increments of other people’s energy or respect traded for it in the form of time-spent and consequent value of time-spent in terms of other commodities represented by the symbol of mono-eye, the all-seeing eye on top of the pyramid on the dollar bill.
Once that might is bamboozled into creation by dangling a few Pavlovian carrots of “freedom” in front of the deluded producers, it is then taken over and co-opted for enforcing a parasitic and oppressive win-lose law-of-the-jungle-based society of false “equality” (which everyone but the parasites are expected to conform to and “virtue signal” their conformity for all to see or get called nasty, deliberately “weaponized” names) that puts a premium on mediocrity and gets the majority of people back into line and easily controlled by that newly acquired power.
The hardest and mightiest ass-kickings of all are given by the mightiest force, of course, nature itself, and nature always eventually makes the win-lose parasites themselves, no matter how wealthy and “untouchable,” pay in the heaviest coins of spiritual misery, neuroses and psychoses the dues of their own evil karma, hence the emergence of “Natural Law” which only recognizes “mother nature” as “the king of ultimate whup-ass” and considers any man-made laws that nature has not approved of through its final source of appeal, invalid.
No one escapes the consequences of irrationality and acting in an animalistic and parasitic manner when the choice and glories of acting like a fully realized human being, acting like a producer and creator of new forms and techniques for the most c-lever and leveraged channeling of energies, is also available.
The higher the degree of the win-win dialectic that is allowed to operate in each society, the more “progressive” or advanced that society will become in terms of its higher standards of living gained through technologies and labor-saving de-vices, literally machines for de-vicing or transcending “vices.”
The higher the degree of win-lose parasitism that is allowed to co-opt and bamboozle and con the producers into giving up “righteous might” for the use of anti-life or evil, oppressive might, the more regressive, degenerate and miserable the majority of people suffering under its will tend to be.
T-root is foundational information which goes to the root of things and corrects foundations, lays down the correct or closest-to-the-root premises, from which all structures of logic, within that society, all the branches of be-leaf, will be grown. The most logical structure in the world cannot outgrow a cracked or toxic foundation or poisoned foundational premises.
There is no such thing as an “absolute truth” that has arrived fully and completely for our symbolically acquired contemplation and is therefore to be called “universal” or “objective” for all times. There is only “the natural law” or reality which is always and unendingly revealing itself to our instincts, then to our reason, in order to hopefully re-integrate itself through the pathway of reason into creating “higher” instincts rather than standing as a bulwark against “naughty” or “base” instincts. “Base” instincts are simply ones that are not yet integrated by reason and conscience-born-out-of-RIGHTEOUS-might and channeled into higher instincts.
Reality, to paraphrase Philip K. Dick, is that which when you stop believing in it, does not go away. Similarly, Natural Law is that which, when you stop be-leaf-ing in it, does not go away. “Truths” can always be mapped in more symbolic and metaphorical detail to the physical or spiritual territories they represent, given the invention of some new scientific or artistic technology that sheds new light on those “truths,” previously unrecognized, and these newer truths are then subsumed and integrated under the larger symbol or word designated to signify the phenomenon, if not for “everybody,” then at least for those who want to really “understand” that phenomenon and its related phenomena.
When considering historical figures, it is only the degree of truth that their message carried, as we can judge it today, the amount of “baby” in the “bathwater” that matters and whether the baby can be excavated without drowning in bathwater.
Either way, as both Bill Joslin and Jan Irvin have thankfully recognized Schopenhauer’s maxim which Nietzsche also followed: only the superior FORCE or will-to-power will ever have the might to make any “rights,” whether this be individual rights congruent with Natural Law or collectivized and unjust “group rights” violating the individual human being in the worldwide systems of outright socialism and Marxism we live under today.
It is true that myriad benefits accrue to society when the free-will of exceptional people of honest goodwill, is given free reign. When they accrue to society they also “accrue” to parasites and oppressors who are smart enough to know what they’re talentless at anything but con-artistry, lying and deception, and therefore simply, through control of mediums of communication, fake any and all perceptions of “freedom” and “prosperity” and “heroic scientific adventures for the good of humanity” needed in order to get the creative people to create what they need to loot. They are led by the nose to creative labor, and then led by the same carrots to co-option of the fruits of their labor which are then, in fat, used to oppress everyone, including the tiny minority of true creatives, and keep them in line. .
In other words, I believe in the RIGHTEOUS power (sheepdog “might makes right” rather than wolf) or might of good people carrying healthy values and ideas being the only force that can fight the parasitically acquired might of the usurocracy. I don’t believe in this nonsense of “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” It TENDS to corrupt when the true rewards of creativity are not appreciated by parasitical buffoons able to seek immediate advantage but does not have to. When people distrust all “power,” no matter how and why it was acquired, as an automatically corrupting force, they tend to become cynical to the point of historical nihilism, and this starts an immature process of throwing out all babies with their bathwater by claiming the baby not being worth the effort of separating from its bathwater, or declaring nothing, not even the ideas of the founding fathers of the USA, for example, to be of any value at all, because, in one way or another, they eventually led to the massive amounts of “equality sludge” everyone is drowning in today.

“A mind that is positive cannot be controlled. For the purposes of occult dominion, minds must therefore be rendered passive and negative in order that control may be achieved. Minds consciously working to a definite end are a power, and power can oppose power for good or for evil. The scheme for world dominion might be doomed by the recognition of this principle alone, but, as it is unfortunately unrecognized, it remains unchallenged.” — Lady Queenborough (Edith Starr Miller), 1933

Holy f**k we have to have a session. That is some deep epic thought that wants a discussion.
