1) Live presentation at the Living Temple, Huntington Beach, CA, Oct. 25, 2008.
For those of you who missed the live presentation at the Pharaoh’s Den in Riverside on August 22 and would like a little more advanced notice so you can catch the next one, well wait no more. On Oct. 25, 2008 at 6:30 PM I will be giving a live presentation at the Living Temple in Huntington Beach, California. Seating is limited and we ask that you RSVP in advance. The topic of discussion will be my new book, The Holy Mushroom, as well as covering some of the material from Astrotheology & Shamanism. Admission is $15. 2) Donations needed.
Gnostic Media survives mostly on donations. While we do make some money from book and DVD sales to help fill in the gaps, it is essential to our survival that we receive donations. If you have not donated recently, we ask that you please do so that we may continue to be focused on research instead of bills. Upcoming projects that we need donations for include: a) Research funding for the 3rd book – the subject is Sex and Fertility cults. b) a new computer is needed. After 5 years of heavy use, the current AMD 3200 machine is no longer able / capable of fulfilling our work needs and crashes daily. It needs to be replaced as soon as possible so that I may continue work on a new video project. c) a new video camera is needed. We no longer have a working video camera and need one ASAP to continue various projects. Please go to the www.gnosticmedia.com website and click on the donations link on the top left of the website. 3) Radio interview from KUCR.
Around the 15th of August I did the radio interview for KUCR, but it ended up being a studio recording and then broadcast later. For those of you who missed the show, I plan on releasing it either today or tomorrow on http://gnosticmedia.podomatic.com/ It’s an excellent interview, so don’t miss it.
4) October print date for The Holy Mushroom:
My new book, The Holy Mushroom, as well as the second edition of Astrotheology & Shamanism are timed to be going to print in mid to late October. I’m still trying to pin down the exact dates, but there is so much going on in preparation that we’re still unsure of the official release date.
5) Astrotheology & Shamanism 2nd edition - renamed:
The second edition of Astrotheology & Shamanism, in addition to being completely revised and updated, has been renamed. The new title will be: Astrotheology & Shamanism: Christianity’s Pagan Roots. A Revolutionary Reinterpretation of the Evidence.
6) An interview with Professor Carl Ruck.
This month I plan on releasing part of an interview I did with Professor Carl Ruck from Boston University. This recording was made at his home in the Boston area in April of this year and contains a lot of great information. The topic: John Marco Allegro. Professor Ruck has decided to go public that he thinks Allegro’s research in The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross, is, for the most part, correct. Release date is to be announced.
7) Release date for Professor John Rush’s book, Failed God, delayed.
Professor Rush’s book which is highly supportive of Allegro’s ideas presented in The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross has been delayed a month and is now looking at October for release. Don’t miss this book!
De Farmacratische Inquisitie – Dutch versionWhile the Dutch version of the Pharmacratic Inquisition DVD was released a few weeks ago on Exposure Room, the HD version of the video has still not been released due to technical difficulties and computer problems.
